Mow Mapper (“Mow Mapper,” “we,” “us”) makes mowing route and job-management software for lawn care businesses, on iPhone and on the web at app.mowmapper.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions? Email support@mowmapper.com.

Information you give us

• Account details. Your name, email address, and a password (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider).
• Business details. Your company name, the crew members you invite, and the equipment you set up.
• Customer and property records. The information you enter about your customers and their properties, such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, service addresses, notes, and pricing.
• Property maps. The lawn outlines and areas you trace for each property, and the routes and estimates we calculate from them.
• Payment details. Subscriptions are handled by Stripe. Stripe processes your card; we do not see or store full card numbers.

Information we collect automatically

To keep the app working and secure, we collect basic technical information such as app version, device type, and diagnostic or crash logs. We do not track your device’s location in the background, and we do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Maps and address search

Maps are drawn by Apple Maps (MapKit). You draw your lawn outlines on top of Apple’s map; we do not download, copy, or store map imagery. Address search suggestions are provided by Google Places, which returns matching addresses so you can pull up a property.

How we use your information

• Provide and operate Mow Mapper, including routes and estimates.
• Sync your data across your iPhone and the web.
• Process your subscription and send billing-related messages.
• Respond to your support requests.
• Keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
• Understand how the app is used so we can improve it.

How we share your information

• We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
• Your company’s data stays yours. The customers, properties, and maps under your company account are private to your company. Other businesses that use Mow Mapper cannot see them.
• Service providers. We rely on a small set of providers to run the service: Apple (maps), Google (address search), Stripe (payments), and authentication, database, and hosting providers such as Supabase and Netlify. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
• Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual records, or your whole account, from within the app. When you delete something we remove or anonymize it within a reasonable period, except where we need to keep limited records to meet legal or accounting obligations (for example, past invoices).

Your choices and rights

You can view and edit your information from within the app, and delete your account under Account settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To make a request, email support@mowmapper.com and we will help.

Security

We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to address issues promptly.

Children

Mow Mapper is a tool for businesses and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

International users

Mow Mapper is operated from the United States, and your information may be processed there. By using the service you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
